Nutrition and Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis has no known cause and no known cure. The disease destroys the myelin sheaths that surround the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This causes the nervous system to malfunction which leads to a wide variety of symptoms.

Some of the environmental factors that have been proposed as risk factors for MS include decreased exposure to sun, low vitamin D production and intake, severe stress, smoking and infections. While none of these have been shown to directly cause MS, they are all considered contributing factors. If you can eliminate smoking and improve your nutrition, chances are you will be less likely to get MS. Furthermore, there is plenty of anecdotal evidence from many people with MS who have reduced or eliminated their symptoms through dietary change.

I firmly believe it is possible to improve the quality of life of people with MS through changes in their dietary habits. I have clients whose brain lesions from MS got smaller then disappeared as their bodies responded to the diet changes I recommended. If you are fed up with putting up with your MS symptoms, you can start to regain control of your life through my customized MS support program.

I start by meeting with you in the comfort of your own home. The initial interview will discuss the following topics:

  • Current Diet and Lifestyle
  • Health History
  • What medications you are taking
  • Existing symptoms
  • Symptomatology questionnaire

An iridology examination will also be performed to see the levels of stress on various organs and glands such as the heart, kidney, liver, stomach, thyroid and adrenal. This examination will then be cross-referenced with the interview. Based on this information, I then design a custom program for you. Not only do I develop the program, but I monitor your progress on a weekly basis to ensure you're able to follow the program diligently and to see if there are any changes in your health condition.

You have everything to gain by trying my nutrition-based MS support program. I firmly believe it can be a valuable tool to help you achieve good health.
